Anpha Capital Celebrates First Year Anniversary and IPO of Funds

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, December 28th, 2007 - Anpha Capital Group celebrates its first anniversary today by having a gala dinner reception at the Reunification Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Since inception, the company launched two investment vehicles, Vietnam Equity Holding (VEH) and Vietnam Property Holding (VPH), listed these two entities on the Frankfurt stock exchange, and raised US$125 million in capital from foreign investors.

Anpha Capital was officially licensed by the State Securities Commission on December 28th, 2006 with the initial name of Phu Lan Investment Fund Management Company. The company later renamed to Anpha Capital Investment Fund Management Company by License Number 03/UBCK-GP in August 15, 2007. Anpha Capital is authorized to provide services in fund management, security investment, and corporate finance advisory.

VEH and VPH are both Cayman Island-based investment companies managed by Anpha Capital Group. VEH will invest mostly in pre-IPO opportunities of state-owned-enterprises (SOEs) equitizations, over-the-counter securities (OTC), private equity, and listed shares. Vietnam Property Holding fund (VPH) will target the real estate sector, concentrating on commercial, residential, retail, industrial parks, and infrastructure projects. Anpha Capital also manages two local investment funds named Anpha Capital Equity (ACE) and Anpha Capital Property (ACP).

VEH and VPH were the first Vietnam-related entities to list on the Frankfurt stock exchange on November 30, 2007 and currently actively trading on the XETRA, Frankfurt’s electronic trading board. The Bloomberg stock ticker symbol is “3MS” for VEH, and “3MT” for VPH.
